About Us
NUS Calibur Robotics is a student-run team comprising of over 50 members from the College of Design and Engineering, School of Computing, and College of Humanities and Sciences. Established in 2019, we are dedicated in our goal to design, fabricate, program, and test a team of seven unique robots to compete in the DJI Robomaster University Championships - the ultimate robot deathmatch. Our mission is to deploy the full lineup of nine robots in the competition.
We have technical and management teams working together towards success. Our technical teams, focused on developing our robots and innovating new subsystems, are grouped into Team Calibur and Team DarkNUS, which are the senior and junior teams respectively. Team DarkNUS follows a one-semester roadmap that trains and readies students for the competition by developing their skillsets and talents. The management team focuses on the welfare, logistics, and business development to ensure the growth and financial needs of the club.
Our workshop located in the Kent Ridge campus is abuzz with activity daily; members call it their second home, a place where they spend time exploring, innovating and designing to their hearts’ content.
Our Goals
Over the next three competition seasons, we aim to place in the top international team in the RoboMaster University Championship.
More than just competition
We work hard and we play hard. NUS Calibur Robotics is more than just a team aiming to compete; we aim to create an environment where students can network and collaborate with other students outside of their majors and faculties.
NUS Calibur Robotics is open to everyone, as long as you have the passion for technological innovation, the enthusiasm to learn all things robotics and ready to take up a challenge!
