Donor Appreciation Dinner 2024

On the Donor Appreciation Dinner held on 19th January 2024, where we celebrated the achievements of NUS Calibur Robotics. Discover our innovative robotic designs, relive the demonstrations of our ground offensive robots, and learn about our journey in the DJI’s RoboMaster competitions. This event was a tribute to our generous donors, whose support has propelled us to the forefront of technological innovation.

During the Donor Appreciation Dinner, a demonstration featuring two of our ground offensive robots - the agile Standard and the powerful Hero were conducted.

The Standard, an all-terrain robot, showcased its agility and speed, darting across the demonstration area with its unique mecanum wheels. Attendees watched in awe as it launched 17mm projectiles at a maximum speed of 30m/s, demonstrating its potential for offensive maneuvers in the RoboMaster competition.

The Hero, on the other hand, demonstrated its role as the ‘Attack Damage Carry’ of the team. Stationed at a high point, it launched larger, 42mm projectiles, resembling golf balls, at a maximum speed of 16 m/s. The demonstration highlighted the strategic role of the Hero in taking out arena targets and enemy robots from a distance.

The demonstration was a testament to the technical ingenuity of the NUS Calibur Robotics team and served as an exciting glimpse into the RoboMaster competitions.
